Creating your day Consciously

So often we find ourselves amongst the busyness of our day or our environment and we find ourselves ending our day with exhaustion. Laying down at the end of the day completely spent in our bodies but our mind is continuing. The greatest gift You can give yourself is the – opportunity – to PREPAVE your day. Start the day by setting your intention of how you want your day to go. How you want your interactions with others to go IS how they will go. Everything that comes your way in your day is going to match the vibration (your thoughts and emotions) that you are emitting – So start your day by emitting the best highest vibrational thoughts you can muster.

A few simple intentions stated aloud or in your head will work just fine. For example, “I see myself having uplifting and positive interactions with all those who cross my path”. Like any habit (or belief) they are thoughts formed by continuing the pattern for several days – even up to 30. Once you’ve established this in your morning you will begin to see the day unfold in new and unknown ways. Delightful with consistency and I recommend beginning this prior to getting out of bed or as you are just starting the day getting out of bed. Also, if you can think of 3 intentions (at minimum) for the day that is a great place to begin.

Small steps will net BIG changes in life.

Good Morning! I am truly Thankful and Grateful for each morning sunrise as that signifies the start of a fresh new day. A new opportunity to BE and do what truly speaks to your soul. Every morning is a magnificent blessing and I strive to treat each morning in that exact way. Capturing a morning sunrise by the river or in the woods close to nature reminds me that we are so connected in every way. The air we breath is here because of the Wise and beautiful trees existence. The water covers 70% of the beautiful earth JUST as water makes up 70% of our very Being. These are not coincidences not per chance and are not separate from us. I am Thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you for sharing in this moment in time where we get to experience this magnificent New Dawn.

Good Mornings

When I wake up in the morning I count my blessings (or rather state my intentions for the day and 3 things I am thankful for in the Now moment) … Take some deep breaths and take a walk with me… This picture is my early morning start down by the river today. This peaceful spot is so filled with warmth and Light. Not in the way you may perceive by seeing the sunlight casting it’s beauty on the sandy beach… but in a way that is beyond words. If you sit quietly here or in any peaceful spot in nature you too will be able to connect with the quiet calm. That quiet calm or inner peace is YOUR sanctuary – YOUR space that YOU are responsible to keep balanced. YOUR choice always. YOU get to choose daily Who and What YOU carry forward into each moment. YOU get to choose happy or anxiety. YOU get to choose to BE in the flow of life or let Life Default settings occur to you…. I choose happy, I choose peace, I choose Love, I choose Me. With that being said …. I choose to hold peace for all those who also want to Consciously Choose to live their best life ON and With Purpose… not on default.

Understanding Who and What you truly are …

We are all beautiful beings of energy made up of the cosmos itself with such a beautiful opportunity to learn through our experiences. It is when you quiet the mind and take an observers perch on your own thoughts and your own life that you will be able to See and Know Who and What you truly are. Having an open mind and heart and the willingness to Know the Truth and when I say Truth I mean the Truths that will always be True now and in 1000 years in the future. Those Truths will always be true no matter when they are realized by you. Right now there is a consciousness awareness awakening going on worldwide that will aid in the transformation of our entire planet and future(s). As you learn more about your Self you are truly learning more about Who and What you truly are and are then able to see things anew. I know it is easy for us to get caught up in the “day-to-day” activities and distractions or dramas that are playing out in front of us continuously … but it is only when you stop being in the “distractions” and find your time to look inward.. perhaps during meditation… that you are able to begin. That quiet … is where you find the answers to the questions you did not know you had. That is a good place to start. Meditation is the deep breathing quiet time dedicated to No thought.. which in itself sounds empty but the Truth is it is just the opposite. We are all connected everywhere … always …

We are all ultimately very powerful beings at our core, whether we choose to unlock our inner power is up to each of us. I strongly encourage to begin today to understand yourself and when you do you will realize how truly magnificent and limitless you were made. Made to have, be and do anything you can imagine. There may be inner work to do and you will know once you begin that journey but as you grow through and see more you will remember everything you never knew was you.

Small steps to move forward (forward is the way to get everywhere):

1.Meditate Daily – Live life on purpose (not default any longer) *If you have never you can always start small with 5 mins and work up 1 minute longer each day. It takes practice to quiet your mind. Do not be hard on yourself. Keep working at it and you will get there.

2.Morning Ritual – Start with 3 positive things to say about what you are Thankful for before you get out of bed. (something as simple as I am happy to be alive, or happy that my pillow is so comfy) This will get the day started on the right tone.

3.Positive Intentions for the day – Start with 1-3 positive Intentions for yourself for this day (again you can do this right at wake up time -prior to getting out of bed) -something as simple as.. I see myself getting ready for work efficiently and with ease… or I see myself having mutually beneficial and uplifting conversations with all those who cross my path.. thus setting forth your intentions for this day.

4.Less News (zero if possible) – This is not keeping your head in the sand this is filtering the negative thoughts of others to not become who or what you are or want to create more of…

Oneness

Oneness is the fact or state of being one in number. Oneness is the coming together of all… It is the basis and underlying essence of everything. We have to go beyond the senses, beyond duality to find Oneness. I know this is not something that we have been taught so really grasping Oneness is a new concept to many. It however is probably the most important lesson to learn about our existence. The universe is one being. Think about your own consciousness and then try to imagine that the universe is one infinite consciousness … like one infinite conscious entity but not in the human sense. One infinite ever changing and expanding consciousness. Each of us is a point of individualized consciousness belonging to this whole. Each spirit a focal point of energy within this infinite mind – each likened to a branch on a tree, part of the whole. A great healing occurs within each person who realizes the concept of oneness and takes time to contemplate it.

Now the Benefits of Burning Sage:

 

The Native American Tribes were known to use Sage for multiple purposes such as healing, clearing space and ceremonies. Many benefits can be gained by smudging. Smudging is a kind of clearing that can be done on oneself or home.  Most people use Sage by burning it, including myself. Basically, a bunch of dried sage are twisted into a stick shape then lit on one end of the “stick”. Once it begins to burn it is then blown out. This is where you direct the smoke into and onto the areas that are in need of clearing and a kind of protection. It actually kills most of the existing bacteria in the air. It’s roots are in Native American cultures and traditions but works all the same today. Simply set an intention, to clear your house (or self if doing you as opposed to your home) of any lingering negative energy. It is like taking an energetic shower, or doing a deep metaphysical cleansing.

Water Love

Water is my favorite beverage in the world. I enjoy being at the ocean or any body of water really, as it brings me such inner peace. I enjoy the sound of a waterfall or just being in the pool. Water is one of the most vital elements of life, yet it is probably the one thing that many of us take for granted. We are each made up of 70% water just like the beautiful earth. Without water there is no life. Water is energy and energy is life. Our bodies crave hydrotherapy as a means to promote healing and wellness overall. Many of us do not drink enough water throughout the day and become dehydrated. (By the time your mouth is dry you are already dehydrated) Taking a bath is healing in many ways, soak yourself for at least 20 minutes and cleanse your soul. Regular baths can increase blood circulation, lymphatic drainage while reducing stress and mental fatigue. As another option, a daily shower can be looked at as a sacred cleanse. How so? You can imagine that the water is washing away all of the negative thoughts and emotions, actually seeing them leave you for good as the water rushes to the drain. However you view water remember it is a part of who you are and you need it so please be good to you and remember to enjoy the water.

 

Meditation

I truly enjoy my meditation. A time to quiet the mind and look inward. I must say the best Meditation I have ever had was when I was on the beach in Santa Cruz, California. There is just something so amazing about being right there in the sand, smelling that ocean air … shoes off and eyes closed. To feel that cool ocean breeze and hear those waves crashing all around me. I was able to drop quickly into the meditative state. Which of course this state of being is always welcomed by me. If you have never meditated I would recommend starting out by breathing deeply (4 seconds in and 7 seconds out) for maybe 5 minutes on the first day. You can gradually move that time out each day… Yes! each day… If you want to know the beauty of true inner peace and a greater understanding of that peace that only knowing your inner deeper you will bring. I cannot express enough how much breathing deeply and meditating daily has truly changed my life. For starters, daily we are taking these shallow breaths all day long and our highly intelligent cells require more oxygenation. Breathing deeply daily will literally in fact change your life beginning right in the brain. Start today, start at any amount of time…. even 1 minute if that is the most you can do today.
